Ordering HPE Zerto Software
End of Marketing: As of 31 October 2025, new deployments of VMware Solutions offerings are no longer available for new customers. Existing customers can still use and expand their active VMware® workloads on IBM Cloud®. For more information, see End of Marketing for VMware on IBM Cloud.
You can include the HPE Zerto Software service with a new VMware Cloud Foundation for Classic - Automated instance or add the service to your existing instance.
Billing for HPE Zerto Software replication
VMs (virtual machines) that are replicated by using HPE Zerto Software are metered by HPE Zerto Software and IBM Cloud®. Your bill for this usage is charged through an IBM Cloud billable account instead of an IBM Cloud infrastructure account.
Before you order HPE Zerto Software, ensure that your IBM Cloud account is a billable account, and that it is linked to the same IBM Cloud infrastructure account where your instance is deployed.

Considerations for ordering HPE Zerto Software
When you deploy HPE Zerto Software, you must configure your own proxy or NAT connection to the public network.
Within 15 days, you must configure the Call Home feature for HPE Zerto Software. If you do not complete the configuration in this time frame, the following issues might happen:
- HPE Zerto Software blocks certain management activities.
- You are charged for a full month of usage.
